A pesquisa científica é uma atividade inerentemente colaborativa cujo principal objetivo é a produção de conhecimento, ao mesmo tempo, o conhecimento funciona como principal engrenagem desse processo. O foco desta dissertação é o processo de orientação de pesquisa de mestrado no COPPE/Sistema. A orientação de pesquisa será abordada a partir dos conceitos de gestão de conhecimento, pois ela envolve atividades de criação, aquisição, identificação, seleção de conhecimentos, e também do ponto de vista de trabalho cooperativo apoiado por computador.
Esta dissertação descreve as características desejadas de uma ferramenta para apoiar a orientação e realização de pesquisa de mestrado no COPPE/Sisteina. Seu objetivo principal é possibilitar que o orientando organize e estruture os conhecimentos criados durante a pesquisa, de forma a melhorar a interação dele com o orientador, além de oferecer mecanismos para apoiar a coordenação de atividades, o compartilhamento do conhecimento e a comunicação entre eles.
The scientific research is an inherently collaborative activity and its main objective is the knowledge production, at the same time, the knowledge works as the main geas of ths process. The focus of interest at ths dissertation is the realization and the orientation of a master degree's research in the COPPE/System. The research orientation will be boarded from the concepts of knowledge management, therefore it involves creation, acquisition, identification, and election of knowledge activities and also the point of view of cooperative work supported by computer.
Ths dissertation describes the desired characteristics of a tool to support the orentation and realization of a master degree research in the COPPE/System. Its main objective is to make possible that students organize the kowledge produced during the research to improve the interaction between them and the professors, besides offering mechanism for supporting activity coordination, and the knowledge sharing.
