We present a new model of information diusion in communication networks, based on the declaration of interests of the users. The declared interests of a user dene his/her prex, which the network protocol uses as the header of his/her messages. The model uses the message prexes as an original mechanism of addressing, message forwarding, and clustering users with common interests. The model is composed basically of a diusion method combined with a message structure in such a way that it obviates the need of a central element for information diusion. In the model, a message is composed only of keywords that express interests and a method that allows the dissemination of messages by means of interest matching between the prexes of the messages with those of the network equipments that propagate them, allowing forming interest groups spontaneously.
