PESC paper receives Honorable Mention in WPerformance
The paper entitled "Identifying Asymptomatic Nodes in Network Epidemics using Betweenness Centrality" authored by Conrado Catarcione Pinto (master's student PESC) and Daniel Ratton Figueiredo (PESC) - his advisor at PESC - received the Honorable Mention Award at WPerformance 2024.
The work presents an evaluation of centrality measures in networks to identify asymptomatic vertices in network models and random epidemics. See the article by clicking here.
WPerformance (Workshop on Computer and Communication Systems Performance) is in its 23rd year. edition and is a satellite event of the Congress of the Brazilian Computing Society (CSBC), held this year in Brasília, on July 22nd. See by clicking here.
In this edition, 26 articles were submitted and 9 were accepted for publication and oral presentation, of which one received the Best Article Award and another the Honorable Mention (the PESC article).
