Prof. Nelson Maculan (PESC) will be one of the two panelists of the Webinar "Noam Chomski on Academic freedom as a fundamental right for the fair and sustainable development of a country".

The activity will take place on March 9, at 21:00 (Brasília time), and prior registration is required for participation.

It will be opened by the Chilean Senator Francisco Chahuán - President of the Challenges of the Future Commission (Chile), being moderated by Prof. Ernesto DR Santibanez Gonzalez (Chile).

Panelists will be Prof. Erik Olsson (Academic Rights Watch, Sweden) and Prof. Nelson Maculan (PESC/UFRJ, Brazil).

The event is an initiative of the "Latin American Observatory for Academic Freedom Initiative".
