Renan Souza's doctoral thesis "Supporting User Steering in Large-Scale Workflows with Provenance Data", presented in Dec 2019, supervised by Marta Mattoso (COPPE-UFRJ) and Patrick Valduriez (Inria, France), received an Honorable Mention, for being among the top three, in the Biannual Contest of Theses and Dissertations of the 2021 SBBD (Brazilian Symposium of Databases). 

The distinction was announced on Oct 8th 2021 at the SBBD awards session (see photo).
