The work "Muriqui Optimizer: An open source solver for convex Mixed Integer Nonlinear Programming" by Wendel Melo, Marcia Fampa and Fernanda Raupp was the winner of the COIN-OR Cup 2020. 


The work is based on the master's dissertation and the doctoral thesis of Wendel Melo, a former student at PESC, supervised by Marcia Fampa. 


The COIN-OR Cup is a competition sponsored by the COIN-OR Foundation (COmputational INfrastructure for OPerations Research), which highlights works that contribute to the development and use of open source operational research software, associated with the COIN-OR software collection.
