The Systems and Computer Engineering Program (PESC/COPPE/UFRJ) is pleased to announce, in partnership with the Postgraduate Program in Computer Science (PPCIC/CEFET-RJ), the holding of the first Symposium on Analytics for Football Excellence 2024 (SAFE 2024), organized by the Analytics for Competitive Excellence (ACE) Laboratory. 

This pioneering event in Rio de Janeiro aims to explore the use of data and technology to improve football performance, bringing together experts from academia and industry to share experiences and innovations.

SAFE 2024 will take place on November 11, 2024, at Inovateca, in the UFRJ Technological Park - Ilha do Fundão, from 1:30 pm to 4:45 pm. The event will feature lectures, presentations of success stories and discussions on data science applied to football. 

This is a unique opportunity for professionals and students interested in data analysis and the future of football. 

In addition to the technical content, the symposium will provide an opportunity for networking, connecting researchers, students and professionals who work at the intersection between data science and football.
