Prof. Claudio Miceli and master student Savyo Moraes (PPGI/UFRJ) wins best work at the Pre-IETF Workshop. The event is organized by CGI.br and the IETF and seeks solutions for Internet governance.

The work extends RFC 8520 and concerns the security of domestic IoT applications - an important topic in the current scenario. The result is part of the master's work of Sávyo Moraes under the guidance of Professor Claudio.

The work will be presented at a larger IETF meeting as an IETF draft. It is expected that, in times of google home and alexa, the work draws attention to this important issue.
