Experimentation in Software Engineering: Back to the nearest future

Perspective:

In 2006 the ESE community is going to celebrate the 20^th anniversary of the seminal publication “Experimentation in Software Engineering”, in IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, 1986. Aiming at a reflection on the 20 years that have passed, this talk intends to explore a perspective to suggest an outlook 20 years into the future of experimental studies in Software Engineering.
