Jim Kurose (UMass / USA) will give the inaugural class to COPPE.

Jim has worked with PESC for decades, has come to Brazil several times and is a well-known researcher, and a member of the US National Academy of Engineering.

He will talk about a very cool project that he is coordinating at his university (UMass / USA).

In addition Jim is an excellent speaker.
